Need for Speed: The Run

Need for Speed: The Run is a racing game from the Need for Speed racing game series. The Run is the 18th series from Need for Speed.

In Need for Speed: The Run, the player plays a man named "Jack" to save his life by doing the race from San Francisco to New York. That make The Run as the first series of Need for Speed that his background is in the original world. Player will also be going through a crowded urban areas, the dangerous snowy mountain and other locations that are no less challenging.
 

The Run will wear engine Frostbite 2.0 which is also used in Battlefield 2 and Mirror's Edge 2. Autolog in Hot Pursuit and Shift 2: Unleashed will be presented again. In E3 2011 shown in the trailer that the gameplay will use encryption system quick time events where this system was first used in the series Need for Speed.

The game was developed by EA Black Box and distributed by Electronic Arts. The game is planned to be launched on November 15, 2011.
