What you need to do to obtain the knights?
In ‘Chaos Wars’ (PS2 platform), you can recruit up to 45 character from total 50 character of this game. Some of them will be automatically obtained along the game, and the rest can only be obtained by fulfilling some conditions.
This is all of the character and their conditions to fulfill:
Mue
(Chapter 2 - Act 2 or Chapter 2 - Act 3)
Use Devil’s Guardian Key on gate terminal.
Note: Mue’s ‘Realize’ and ‘Realize Attribute’ can only be activated after you see ‘Knowledge Tower Key’ event in Imperion Island at Chapter6 - Act 2.
Joachim Valentine
First, you must have Uru. Then between phase 0/8 to 2/8, the mission ‘That Name is…’ will available in Radiance Island. Complete that mission to get Joachim Valentine.
Note: Joachim’s skill ‘Yuma Hair Decoration’ will turn into ‘Mask of Question’ after you complete mission ‘That Name is…’ in Radiance Island at Chapter 10 - Act 1.
Carmine
(Chapter 2 - Act 2 or Chapter 2 – Act 3)
Do search or quest mission that have 3 stages on it in Shalulu Island. On the 3rd stage, there will be a cutscene and an ambush (battle). Finish and win that battle to get Carmine.
(Chapter 2 – Act 2 or Chapter 2 – Act 3)
The second battle of mission ‘Find the Paper Sword Girl’ in Golugore Island, defeat Gaizan with any character except Hiro to obtain Blue Wing Key. Use that key to the gate terminal to acquire Tonaty.
Wallace
(Chapter 2 – Act 2 or Chapter 3 – Act 3)
The second battle of mission ‘Find the Paper Sword Girl’ in Golugore Island, defeat Gaizan with Hiro to obtain Double Sword Key. Use that key to the gate terminal to acquire Wallace.
(Chapter 3 – Act 1)
Use Wolf Fang Key on gate terminal.
Koyuki Saito / Little Snow
(Chapter 3 – Act 2 or Chapter 3 Act 4)
Use Ice Crystal key on gate terminal.
Note: Koyuki’s ‘Realize’ and ‘Realize Attribute’ can be activated at the end of Chapter 6. Little Snow will be acquired automatically at the end of Chapter 6.
RB
At the second battle in mission ‘You’ve Got It All Wrong’ (Chapter 2), you must defeat Rouma with Okita to obtain Desert Key. And at Chapter 3 – Act 2, the mission ‘Night Thriller’ will be available in Radiance Island. Play it and finish it to get RB.
Note: RB’s skill ‘Doing it Tonight 1’ will become ‘Doing it Tonight F’ after you activate ‘Time Tower Key’ event in Toriltram Island at Chapter 9 – Act 1.
Luwanelva
(Chapter 3 – Act 3 or Chapter 3 – Act 4)
At the second battle in mission ‘Self-Professed Detective’, defeat Ryoma before 5th phase to get Heavy Drinking Key. Use that key on gate terminal to acquire Luwanelva.
Orochimaru
(Chapter 3 – Act 3 or Chapter 3 – Act 4)
At the second battle in mission ‘Self-Professed Detective’, defeat Ryoma after 5th phase to get Huge Serpent Key. Use that key on gate terminal to acquire Orochimaru.
Monica
(Chapter 4 – Act 1)
Do search or quest mission that have 3 stages on it in Garaze Island. On the 3rd stage, there will be a cutscene and an ambush (battle). Finish and win that battle to get Monica.
Zeonsilt
(Chapter 4 – Act 1)
Use Two Spears Key on gate terminal.
Juji Kabane
(Chapter 4 - Act 2)
First, you must have RB. At Chapter 4 – Act 2, speak to Roger to get mission ‘Avenger’ available in Garaze Island. Finish that mission to acquire Juji Kabane.
Note: Juji’s ‘Realize Attribute’ (known as ‘Mirage’) will turn into ‘Inferno’ after you activate ‘Time Tower Key’ event in Toritram Island at Chapter 9 – Act 1.
Polytan
(Chapter 4 – Act 1 or Chapter 4 – Act 3)
Second battle in mission ‘The Woman of Fate’ at Chapter 3 – Act 5’, make sure that Gepetto uses his Realize to make cutscene between him and Shelley appears. Then in Chapter 4, you must ‘shopping’ 100 times. And go to Pagoras Island to take search and quest mission that 2 stages in it. And on the second stage, there will be a cutscene where you fight Polytan. This battle divided to two stages and on the last stage, you must play as Gepetto to defeat Polytan.
Lubul
(Chapter 4 – Act 2 or Chapter 4 – Act 3)
Second battle at mission ‘Mysterious Anthropoid’ in Elshand Island, use Shizuku’s Harisen Dance skill to defeat Lubul.
Jurien
(Chapter 5 – Act 1)
First, you must acquire Carmine. Then complete mission ‘My Road’ in Golugore Island.
Ires
(Chapter 5 – Act 3)
Chose mission ‘Choose to Stay’ in Toritram Island. When you get 2 option, chose to recruit Ires.
Zeros
(Chapter 5 – Act 3)
Chose mission ‘Choose to Stay’ in Toritram Island. When you get 2 option, chose to recruit Zeros.
Lyell
(Chapter 6 – Act 1)
First, you must acquire Monica. Then complete mission ‘Gentle Sinner’ in Radiance Island.
Mervina
(Chapter 6 – Act 1)
First, you must acquire Zanosilt. Then do search or quest mission that have 2 stages on it (in Eishant Island). And on the second stage, there will be a cutscene and ambush (battle). In that battle, use Zenosilt to defeat Mervina.
Ryoma Sakamoto
(Chapter 6 - Act 1)
On the first meeting with Ryoma at Chapter 2, use Okita to defeat him (then you get Desert Key). And on the third battle in mission ‘Library Witch’ in Imperion Island, use Okita to defeat him once again.
Silvernale
(Chapter 6 – Act 2)
Complete mission ‘Royal Card’ with A or B rank. Make sure that Silvernale doesn’t take a lot of damage from your enemy, and cure him if needed.
Laru Bransheen
(Chapter 7 – Act 2)
Laru will be automatically acquired when you choose Laru’s Path.
Sluc
(Chapter 7 - Act 1 or Chapter 7 – Act 3)
When you on mission ‘Saigou Takamori’, you must make sure that Sluc doesn’t take a lot of damage from your enemy, and cure him if needed.
Bunnji Kugashira
(Chapter 7 – Act 2)
Chose Sluc’s Path, then complete mission ‘Gallant Man’ in Garaze Island. Make sure that Grave has leveled up to rank 27 or more.
Mako
(Chapter 7 – Act 3)
First, you must acquire Hijikata, Ryoma, RB, Juji, and Bunnji. Then do search or quest mission that have 3 stages in it (in Toriltram Island). On the 3rd stage, there will be a cutscene and an ambush (battle). Finish and win that battle to get Mako.
Chriass
(Chapter 8 – Act 1)
In mission ‘For Peace’ in Toriltram Island, make sure you defeat Screeper first (before you defeat the other enemy) to acquire Chriass.
Emily Itsukushima
(Chapter 8 – Act 2)
Frist battle on mission ‘Deep in the Library’, you must defeat Emily before Gaizan.
Gaizan
(Chapter 9 – Act 1)
On mission ‘Les Miserable’ in Golugore Island, use Emily to defeat Gaizan and make sure that Gaizan is the first enemy you defeated.
Nagare Tessin
(Chapter 9 – Act 1)
First you must have Laru. Complete mission ‘Kishidan Counterattack’ in Pagoras Island. And make sure that Nagare doesn’t take a lot of damage from the enemy on the second battle.
Shelley Boltiano
(Chapter 9 – Act 2)
On mission ‘Final Battle’ in Golugore Island, you must defeat Shelley first on the first battle and get A rank. Then on the second battle, use Hyoma to defeat Lygen.
Endia
(Chpater 10 – Act 2)
On mission ‘Boy of the Sun’ in Tower of LIfe, you must defeat Endia on phase 0/8.
