A tablet computer has shown the direct video from abducted Detective Takagi. That video sent to Detective Miwako by an unknown strong-looking man. Instantly, Police Department is on a red alert. They try hardly to find the location that video show.
Conan realize that this case may be has a link to Detective in charge of training Detective Takagi. He heard from Detective Miwako that his name was Date. He was gone 1 year earlier in a traffic accident. And because Detective Date’s last name pronunciation was ‘Wataru’, same as Detective Takagi’s last name, he even took upon himself to announce that they were ‘Wataru Brothers’.
