Hide Files in JPG Formatted File | Polymerize

What? Another files in a graphic formatted file?

Yes, you can hide your files into a JPG-like graphic formatted file. You even don’t need any additional software to do this. The file you want to hide can have extensions such as txt, mp3, exe, avi, and many other formats. And other advantages is that you can hide more than one file into the same JPG file! Very handy isn’t it? Don’t worry, the steps are easy, and if you know how to use command prompt, then it nothing more than a spring wind at your hair. (hehehe...)

In order to hide your file, you need to compress that file. So, you need WinRar or WinZip, or any other compressing and extracting file program. You can download them in the link below. And let’s get started then...

@ Create new folder on your computer, I recommed at the root drive (C:\) and give it name, like 'fold'. So, the directory will be 'C:\fold\'. Very easy to remember.

@ Place all files you want to hide and the JPG formatted file in that folder.

@ Select all files you want to hide (don't select the JPG file), and right click, then compress it.

@ Name the compressed file with an easy to remember name, like 'hidden.rar'

@ Press Start Button, click Run from the Start Menu, then type 'cmd' without quotes and then, press OK (or enter from your keyboard).

@ You will see a strange black colored box (if you haven't saw it before). Don't worry, you will enjoy this...

@ Type the following command, and press enter:
  cd C:\fold

Change the red colored text with the folder name where you put the 'pre-hidden' files.

@ Then, type this command, and press enter:
  copy /b YourJpgFileName.jpg + YourCompressedFile.rar YourResultFileName.jpg

Change the red colored text with:
  - YourJpgFileName : change it with your JPG formatted file name.
  - YourCompressedFileName : change it with your compressed file name (in this tutorial : 'hidden')
  - YourResultFileName : change it with the name you want.

If your filename is contained with space, use single quote (') before the file name and after the file extension. And make sure you type the '.jpg' and '.rar' (the extension).

@ Then there should be result like this:
  1 file(s) copied

@ Check the fold folder (or, wathever you named it), and it should be there named 'YourResultFileName.jpg'.

That's it. Now how can we read or execute it if it on the JPG formatted file? Yes, the answer is right below.

@ Right click on the result JPG formatted file. Chose 'Open with...' and chose WinRar, WinZip, or any extractor program.

@ The file(s) you hide will be there, you just need tyo extract it.
@ We're done.

Enjoy it, don't forget to comment and don't tell anyone, okay... Just let them confused for a momment, hahaha...
